Guide lines for hand truck wheel type
selection: When selecting your hand truck, decide what kind of
surface you will be using it on, i.e. Hard surfaces like
concrete & wood or softer surfaces such as grass, gravel, or a
combination of all types of surfaces.
- For hard surfaces use cushion
rubber wheels
- For softer surfaces and hard
surfaces use pneumatic wheels
- the semi-pneumatic wheel is a
economical solution for both applications, with a reduction
from 500 lbs capacity to 300 lbs. capacity in most cases.
The best for both surfaces remains the pneumatic wheel.
