Versa-Grip™ - Model 6138 Drum Handler
Lift Truck-Powered Dual Function Drum Handler with General Purpose
Jaws.
The Lift Truck-Powered Versa-Grip Model 6138 features
both hydraulic gripping and forward dumping capabilities. The
rubber-lined general purpose jaws are designed to handle both steel
drums and other rigid cylinders from 18" to 28" in diameter. Model 6138
requires a lift truck equipped with an auxiliary valve control and
hydraulic quick couplers. |

Versa-Grip offers controlled dumping
forward up to 125°
|
|
Power on the Model 6138 drum handler is
controlled by the auxiliary valve control on the lift truck. Driver
pulls a cord to divert power from the tilting to the clamping mode.
Drums can be released in a horizontal position to facilitate horizontal
stacking. Driver pulls rope to change to clamping mode after drum has
been tilted to 90°. |

Self-Powered Dual Function Drum Handler with General Purpose Jaws
Designed primarily for handling
steel drums of various sizes, the Self-Powered Versa-Grip™ Drum handler
features both hydraulic gripping and dumping capabilities, and can be
used on almost any brand or style of lift truck because of its
self-contained built-in 12-volt battery operated Power Pak (see below).
The rubber-lined general purpose jaws can handle both steel drums and
other rigid cylinders from 18" to 28" in diameter. |
